Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" the American as the pair came face-to-face to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British opponent Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the novice remains one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving massive earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
